Subject: Soc.Religion.Mormon Period Posting Policy

(1) Anyone may contribute an informative article to be regularly 
posted to the newsgroup soc.religion.mormon.  Proposed regular 
postings are to be sent to the moderation board address 
(srm-board@srm.npl.com) for approval.  Regular postings must be 
approved by a unanimous vote of the moderation panel.  The panel 
has the right to request changes to the subject line and the text 
of the submission to ensure accuracy and conformance with the 
charter. 

(2) Once approved, the text of the contributed article will be 
available at the soc.religion.mormon web site (listed below) and 
will be accessible to the public, via both http and ftp. 

(3) Approved contributed articles will automatically be posted to 
the newsgroup.  Each periodical article will be posted once every 
six weeks (or less frequently, upon request of the maintainer).  
All automatic postings will have the text

			[Periodic Posting] 

added to the subject line of the article.

(4) Changes may be submitted by the maintainer of the regularly 
posted article at any time to the moderation board for approval, 
subject to the same review as the original contribution.  The 
updated text of the article will be available at the s.r.m. web 
site as soon as the changes have been approved by the panel.  
Changes to the text of a contributed article will not affect the 
posting schedule for that article.

(5) Only articles following these guidelines will be accepted for 
regular posting to the group.  Articles submitted to the newsgroup 
submission address (srm-submit@srm.npl.com) that are reposts of 
previous articles, are repeats of previous content,  or contain the 
[Periodic Posting] tag in the subject line will not be accepted.
